About the Festival

Good Smoke BBQ Fest with the ROC BBQ Village is more than just a backyard BBQ cookoff — it's a two-day community celebration in East Rochester, NY dedicated to fighting food insecurity. Join us for delicious food, friendly competition, and making a real difference.

About Good Smoke BBQ

Founded in 2006 by Rochester natives Brian and Kelly Wemett, Good Smoke BBQ began on the competitive barbecue circuit and quickly became one of the region's most decorated teams — with more than 600 awards and multiple appearances at the Jack Daniel's and American Royal World Championships. What started as competition cooking grew into catering, a food trailer, and finally a full restaurant and pub at 135 W Commercial St in East Rochester, where Good Smoke serves award-winning, modern barbecue alongside burgers, sandwiches, and a deep bourbon list seven days a week.

About ROC BBQ Supply

ROC BBQ Supply is Rochester's one-stop shop for backyard cooks and competition pitmasters, founded by lifelong Rochesterian George Lumb. From their flagship store at Frontier Commons in Henrietta, ROC BBQ stocks rubs, sauces, charcoal, pellets, wood, accessories, and top-tier grills from brands like Green Mountain, Napoleon, Slow 'N Sear, and Old Country — all while championing local makers and the broader Rochester barbecue community.
